16.dec.03 Knoxville, TN Blue Cats 8pm
17.dec.03 Chattanooga. TN Rhythm and Brews 8pm
18.dec.03 Asheville, NC The Orange Peel 8pm
Bio from homepage:
25-year-old Erin McKeown is a rare find.
While the category of singer/songwriter continues to wander down the path of certain homogeneity and female artists become, by and large, either Britney/Christina knock-offs or dubiously tortured souls, Erin offers something that threatens to move the goalposts.
As long as music fans continue to yearn for the acerbic wit of Randy Newman, the innovative stylings of Bjork and Liz Phair, and the intricate arrangements of Elvis Costello, Erin's latest and third full-length record, "Grand" will prove necessity in any music lover's collection.

7 MARY 3...ANYTHING BUT CUMBERSOME
Wow, what a damn fine rock'n'roll show at The Otter last night! ROB RUSSELL scorched up the stage and really got the crowd going. The fervor even erupted into a small skirmish at the front right of the stage. Our own XYON even got into the battle while performing security duties at the show. After the incident was settled and the offender removed, RUSSELL AND THE SORE LOSERS continued to smoke the stage, paving the way for the coming onslaught of SEVEN MARY THREE. I didn't know much of 7M3's music, but their amazing set turned me into an instant fan. I loved screaming along to the few songs I knew as well as being educated in their other great music. The best moment of all is when 7M3 burst into an amazing cover of MOTORHEAD's 'ACE OF SPADES'. I never thought I'd hear that one, especially at The Otter of all places. It was great seeing other folks with fists in the air screaming along to that great rock anthem. After that, there was no question about 7M3...they truly kicked ass! It was great hanging out with Anthony and Jeremy from TRIBUS as well. Yes Jeremy, I would go to Checkoslovakia in a heartbeat...but only if I could get a decent piece of American cheese without having to use the force! You guys were hilarious at the MID-CITY GRILL. "This hamburger is fucking AWESOME!"

Truely 'A Perfect Circle'
What a kick @ss show! I had heard the buzz about this band for many months, but never checked them out. To show you how much in the dark I was about them, I just recently found out that the lead singer for Tool was their lead singer. I really fell behind on this one. Hell, the other guys were/are in great bands too.
So 2 days ago Rock calls me up and says, "What are you doing Thursday night?"
I reply, "Just the normal stuff. After work I am heading to work over at college, then try and catch up on my school work while trying to find time to sleep somewhere before work on Friday..."
He says, "So I guess you don't want to go see 'A Perfect Circle' Thursday night."
ME: "Well, I really can't afford it"
HIM: "Oh, I just won tickets and backstage passes off the radio"
ME: "Shit! Really? ok then..."
Great show - One of the best I have seen.
Thanks Rock. That was tremendously cool.

Andrew W K - Hoobastank
Just got home from seeng Andrew W K - What a fucking kick @ss, energetic, pile driving show. He doesn't hold back anything and gives everything in his performance. Hoobastank followed, and for me, they had their hands full following Mr. K, but they put on a fine show as well.

FROM DOWNBLEED
Thanks to all of Team Rock for coming out to the Metal Madness! You guys are THE shit!!! I want to thank all the bands who really made this show, Tribus, deadLeveL, Skrog, AntiTrust, Bull Rush and Dawg and Leona from my band. It was a great show with a lot of kick ass bands! Hopefully there will be a 2nd Annual Metal Madness. Thanks again guys for the advertising and promoting. Once again, you've helped us more than we can thank you.
